This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes activities that are prohibited when using Cyniva email hosting. It applies to everyone who uses the service and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. We may update this policy at any time. Because Cyniva runs on shared infrastructure, abuse by one account can harm deliverability and reputation for everyone — so we enforce this policy strictly.
Cyniva is intended for legitimate business and personal email — genuine person-to-person correspondence, transactional and operational messages, and ordinary communication with people who expect to hear from you.
You may not use Cyniva to send, transmit, or facilitate any of the following:
Sending high volumes of outbound mail, configuring the service for bulk or automated sending, or using it as a relay for the above are all prohibited.
Routine, non-promotional communications are fine — for example, replying to your customers, sending receipts and account notices, and corresponding with people who expect your messages. If you are unsure whether a use is permitted, ask us first.
Cyniva’s email is delivered using third-party infrastructure whose own acceptable use and anti-spam policies also apply to your use of the service. Activity that violates those upstream policies is likewise prohibited here.
We monitor for activity consistent with the prohibited uses above. If we detect a violation, or receive a credible report of one, we may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice. Accounts terminated for violating this policy are not eligible for any refund, as set out in the Terms of Service. We may also take any other action we consider appropriate, including reporting unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.
